Endurance Aquatic

If you're looking for a pool to use for these anaerobic WODs, check out the Columbus Recreation and Parks facilities. There are only four open this summer (Dodge, Marion Franklin, Tuttle, and Windsor), but Dodge is quite close to Fit Club and Tuttle is right off a bike path and a big grass field, so it could be a fun spot to practice transitions and/or barefoot running. You have to have a membership card, but it only costs a dollar. They're open from 1:30 to 6:30 (7:30 for Tuttle). Post to comments if you have any other pool recommendations! And now for the WOD:

Anaerobic WOD: Only do this if you will NOT be doing a Strength & Conditioning (S&C - regular CF) WOD. Do the S&C WOD if you can, the Anaerobic WOD if you can't.

Tempo, 80-90%

Choose ONE of Run, Bike, or Swim* and do the following:

80% of max (race) pace for the first half, 90% for the second half

Swim: 400m
Bike: 10 miles
Run: 2 miles

*Preference should be on bike or swim (whichever you didn't do yesterday)

  3. Come on dude - what does it say? Do this one if you DON'T do the WOD today. We're going to have to work on your reading comprehension skillz :)

  6. @Fobblery - I expect such obstinance to carry over to crushing your competitors.

@Toby - They do in fact. Here's a link to a pdf of their schedule, with other useful info as well. Kim might be able to help as well; you could ask me, but I'll just throw you in the deep water and yell at you to relax when you start panicking and sputtering.
