MMA...Armwrestling?

So - you're too dainty to get your shirt dirty on the mats, you have far too many left feet to dance a merengue, much less do an Ali shuffle, you're too lazy to learn any sort of sticky boxing, and in spite of all this, you're flexible enough to kick to the head, mean enough to want to eat people, with enough biceps to make Arnold cry tears of joy. Whatever's a pugilist to do?

XARM, anyone?

  1. Ha, I saw a video on this awhile ago and couldn't believe it.

My perspective on this "sport" is, unfortunately, the same perspective many people still have for MMA as a whole. Hopefully this will be the last I ever hear of XARM and their big armed, talentless, meatheaded athletes.

  2. That's insane.

I really like that it's like real fighting. In a bar, this is basically what you'd see: two guys grabbing each other and hitting with the other arm.

I also like the variety of techniques. I saw a flying arm bars, head kicks, open handed ear cutffs. Interesting take.

  3. I'm down, Constantly Varied Functional Fighting at High Intensity. I think the table would unfairly block my double leg. It is what it is, a little gimmiky but people are involved in hard work and meeting a challenge. It would be interesting to see how some trained people would fair.
